Joelene Hill – The Studio, founded in January 2014 offers innovative hair and make-up styling, specialising in freehand colouring. They use a Balayage technique, derived from the french word, meaning “to sweep”. This technique involves hand smudging and blending of colour, rather than traditional foiling, to create a subtlety that compliments the hair’s natural tones, achieving a completely bespoke and beautiful result.
To design a timeless brand that fits with the Joelene Hill -The Studio experience which is a sanctuary for mind relaxation with the ultimate aim to bring health-to-hair through hand selected organic products used at The Studio. Within the brief it was key to design a brand that fits perfectly with the industrial, polished and minimalist interior that is discrete and timeless. The target audience are women and men of all ages who care about achieving the best colour, believe in the power of organic natural products and who care about maintaining healthy hair.
The branding developed, perfectly compliments the Joelene Hill brand experience. The use of print within collateral is from one of Joelene’s Milan photo shoots that she styled which is a big part of her background. These little details all pieced together reflect a polished, effortless and timeless brand.
